WHY WE LOVE THIS HOME!
A note frome the Sellers...
My husband and I purchased this condo as first-time home buyers and have since welcomed our son into our family. We have been so happy to call it home over the last several years. We enjoyed the renovation projects to add updated touches like wood floors and a granite, herringbone-tiled fireplace. It's been wonderful to have one of the largest floorplans in the complex and to enjoy the privacy and quiet of a topfloor, corner unit. One of our favorite parts of living in Bridgewater are the amenities. There is a peaceful, lush courtyard that is extremely well maintained and has given me great peace of mind in feeling secure walking our dog at any time of night. There is a pool, hot tub, gym, and sauna which give the feel of resort living (a nice retreat from city life!). We've also loved the location - my husband easily commuted into the city and we enjoyed easy access to the water, hikes and parks, and the great local shops and restaurants in Emeryville (a fast growing city!). New jobs have required an out-of-state move - so while we're sad to leave, we hope that you'll find your home here and love it as much as we have!
ADDITIONAL BRIDGEWATER AMENITIES:
Fitness center with yoga studio, locker room and sauna
24-hr security and 24/7 concierge and a secure package room
Secure garage with two parking spaces
Business center with free Wi-fi
Emeryville is a small corridor between Berkeley and Oakland bordered by the eastern shore of the Bay. Though geographically the city is small—just a bit more than one square mile—there’s a great deal of function and influence packed into it. Emeryville’s prime location is the hub of several major freeways and is an important transcontinental railway connection with service to Seattle, Los Angeles and Chicago. Known as a dynamic arts and music community, you’ll find various works of art throughout the community in the public domain. The Art in Public Places Program, as commissioned by the city government, has attracted a growing population of artists and musicians specializing in traditional as well as high-tech mediums. The major employer is Pixar Animation Studios. Locals who enjoy Pixar’s iconic animated feature films can often spot local landmarks and references in many of those movies. Another major employer is IKEA, which anchors the well-known Bay Street shopping complex, an imaginative collection of retailers, entertainment, hospitality and residential opportunities. The destination shopper’s paradise comprises more than 382,000 square feet and draws visitors from all over the greater Bay Area.
